About the Urdu Church App

In 2009 Good Samaritan Ministries began giving away Urdu Bibles in Pakistan, five at a time. Since then more than 150,000 Bibles have gone into homes and churches across the country, and the ministry has planted churches, opened schools, trained pastors and held crusades where thousands heard the Gospel.

The Urdu Church App carries that same work into every believer’s pocket. In a land where a printed Bible costs more than many families can spare and where carrying one is not always easy, the app quietly places the complete Scriptures, worship, teaching and the fellowship of the whole church into their hands. Everything is free.

By God’s grace, thousands of believers now use the app every day, from every province of Pakistan and from Urdu-speaking communities across the Gulf, Britain, Europe, North America and Australia. Hundreds of pastors and lay leaders study in the Ministry Licenses, and hundreds of students prepare for IELTS, OET and NCLEX at no cost.
